Dual Australian-US citizen faces new terrorism charges - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation):
"Hasanoff and another man, Wesam El-Hanafi, 35, are accused of giving money to Al Qaeda and helping members improve their computer skills.
Prosecutors have now also charged the men with providing goods or services for the benefit of the terrorist network.
Both men have pleaded not guilty and face up to 70 years in prison if convicted.
Lawyers for El-Hanafi said there is 'nothing new in the superseding indictment'.
'Mr El-Hanafi pled not guilty and he stands by that plea,' they said in a statement.
Hasanoff's lawyer could not be reached for comment.
Prosecutors have said El-Hanafi bought seven digital Casio watches on the internet to send to Osama bin Laden's militants and that the alarms in the watches could be used as triggers for a bomb."
